Rhinoplasty can reduce the hump of a nose, modify its size, change the shape of the nose tip, narrow the nostril wings or correct trauma or congenital defects.

Improvement of a nose is achieved either by reducing or reshaping the cartilage and bone framework. In some cases, to enhance facial aesthetic results, rhinoplasty may have to be combined with other surgical procedures such as chin reconstruction.

Before undertaking rhinoplasty procedures, the patient needs to visit the surgeon who will study a personalized image of the person along with some routine preoperative tests and an anesthesiological examination.
